we decided to make a sad video related to depression and how it can make us feel sometimes. This is especially close to my heart because ive been dealing with it for four years now and with the rise in competition and how grinding 24/7 is glamourised on social media platforms, kids these days are dealing with a lot of mental health problems like anxiety, adhd, depression etc and these things can make us feel so lonely.

we wanted to get an idea of what we actually require for a task like this so we started searching on youtube and we looked at a lot of music videos from the famous singers like taylor swift, selena gomez, miley cyrus, ariana grande etc, despite the fact that they're high budget highly professional videos but we still got an idea of how its done and we discussed of how we can do similar on a small scale. we also looked at a levels music videos of previous students on youtube which were awarded good grades.

so this year we got to know that we have to make a music video and it was really exciting to know that we'd be able to choose our favorite song and show our creative skills once more. so we started to make mind maps and thought about which genre and social group we are going to touch through our media product.

we're doing it in a duo group just like we did last year, my friend Simran Saleem and i are doing this together.
