q:how does your product engage with the audiences? ans: our music video 'nowhere' engages with the audiences at all levels. firstly, it engages with the teenagers in a sense that theyre able to relate with the song and the girl in the video and they can relate to what is going on with her. other than that, parents can relate to the girl in the video and it makes them understand what their kids at that age might be going through, so its very educational for them. people who have went through breakup at some point in their lives can relate to this on another level and so this song and video has a lot of diverse levels to be related to. the topic of depression and anxiety and the feeling of loss of a loved one and feeling completely alone in ourselves is highlighted in this and it is basically because we wanted to raise awareness of how these social things like friends and romantic relations and their loss can take a toll on the mental and emotional wee being of teenagers and make them fall into depression to an extent where they dont want to live anymore. the girl is in denial and she cant believe that she spent so much time with this guy and he ended everything on just one phone call and this really resonates with what happens with a lot of girls and really devastates them. this is also an example for girls at this age to not emotionally invest themselves in guys who dont care about them one bit. the name nowhere is also inspired by the state of mind she is in which is nowhere and in the end she hopelessly falls to the ground. the black and white color grading shows no life and joy in her life and that shes barely surviving. so this is exactly what is being engaged with the audiences.
