q:How did your research inform your products and the way they use and challenge conventions ? ans our genre is heartbreak and depression.There's no doubt simran and I have been searching all over internet to get some ideas that support our genre. Therefore, to some extent our research about our genre was accurate. we searched regarding our genre it gave us ideas regarding dressing, lighting, make-up, editing, sound/music that would actually give the expression of being depressed. Some sites gave us the guidance that at the end individual commits suicide but we were asked not to use that expression as it glamourises negative experiences. We searched many songs over YouTube like slander, you broke me first, we the kings. But these songs weren't giving deep feeling of being depressed or heart broken because of just named relation. q:how do the elements of your production work together to create a sense of promotion? ans: Elements of our production included shots and movement selection, lighting including naturalistic and expressive, visual composition and mise en scene, acting, sound/music, editing. Since the research and planning of our music we had decided to make best use of our elements to engage our audience in more encouraging way. camera movement, shots and angle that we captured. we made the video with the use of different shot sizes and angles to keep the audiences engaged including closeups, focus, full shot, dolly out, 360 angle, track movement, high angle. By using all these shots we ensured to achieve our objective in such a way that it conveys our message to the audience.Moreover,we used lowkey lighting as our genre was of that kind. so its really low lighting. moreover, the mise en scene was basically this beautiful park in islamabad and its scenic beauty is breathtaking and makes the video more c

q:how does your product engage with the audiences? ans: our music video 'nowhere' engages with the audiences at all levels. firstly, it engages with the teenagers in a sense that theyre able to relate with the song and the girl in the video and they can relate to what is going on with her. other than that, parents can relate to the girl in the video and it makes them understand what their kids at that age might be going through, so its very educational for them. people who have went through breakup at some point in their lives can relate to this on another level and so this song and video has a lot of diverse levels to be related to. the topic of depression and anxiety and the feeling of loss of a loved one and feeling completely alone in ourselves is highlighted in this and it is basically because we wanted to raise awareness of how these social things like friends and romantic relations and their loss can take a toll on the mental and emotional wee being of teenagers and make

Q:how does your product represent social group or issues? ANS: the media product we made is representing the social group of gender and age. we showed a teenage girl and the diverse issues teenagers have to face during these years of their lives, from trying to stay in touch with friends and fit in to having fell in love. teenagers go through a lot but most of the media products on a big scale show them as cranky, disrespectful and ungrateful which has created this idea in people"s minds as if they"re acting and that they really dont have any real issues to deal with provided that everything is taken care of by their parents and that they are just ungrateful. this represents teenage and the mental health issues they have to deal with which are often overlooked by everyone around. its a girl whos depressed which shows how they"re emotionally weak and get easily attached and emotional regaring everything, this music video also shows that she fell in love with a guy and now
